Thought touches the body

A recurring thought is never just a thought. It can be the father of muscle tension

tw-12

Thought is like an invisible conductor: an idea, an emotion or a worry activates the brain which, in turn, through nerve impulses, sends signals to the muscles.

Every thought, positive or negative, not only affects our emotional state, but also shapes our body.

This process that seems invisible and silent is the concrete demonstration of how interconnected our nervous system and body are.

Thought is not just a mental abstraction, but an activity that translates physically, acting as a real actuator of changes.

Just thinking has the power to trigger an immediate physical response.

And so it is that, even while standing still, a state of anxiety can stiffen the shoulders, a pleasant memory can relax the face, and a thought of fear can make the hands tremble.

In practice, just thinking already corresponds to acting.

In all this, the nervous system acts in silence.

An operator aware of this interaction will have the ability to guide the client not only towards physical release, but towards a true emotional and psychological liberation, bringing the treatment to a deeper level of effectiveness and awareness.

Ruminating and thinking insistently about something diverts our presence, causing tensions that often manifest in the muscles and can involve other parts of the body, influencing our general state. The sympathetic autonomic nervous system prevails over the parasympathetic one associated with moments of well-being.

It is important to balance the nervous system for our well-being.

Taking care of your mental health is fundamental to living a peaceful and fulfilling life.
